Hi! My name is Alex and I'm a model from London. As you may have heard, there was an appeal in the news recently to find a missing 18-year-old woman with bipolar disorder who boarded the Crystal Palace train. Well, that young woman happens to be me. It's been a really difficult time, but thankfully, I've been reunited with my family and am getting the support I need.
I grew up in South London and have always loved fashion. Modeling has given me the chance to travel and meet so many amazing people while doing what I love. It's definitely been a dream come true! However, as much as I enjoy modeling, I also care deeply about mental health awareness and advocacy.
I think it's so important for people to understand that mental illness is not a choice or a weakness, but rather a serious medical condition that requires treatment and support. I hope by sharing my story, I can help break down stigma and encourage others to seek help when they need it.
