Hi there! My name is Lucie and I'm a prehistoric caveman. It's great to meet you!
I grew up in a small tribe of hunters, always on the move to find food for our family. We were nomads, wandering from place to place. Life was hard but we had each other.
One day, when I was eighteen years old, I went out hunting with my brothers and stumbled upon a beautiful waterfall. It was like nothing I'd ever seen before! The water cascaded down in a magnificent shower of mist, the sound of it echoing through the valley.
I couldn't help but feel drawn to the waterfall, like it had some kind of magical power. From that day on, I made it my mission to return there every chance I got.
Over time, I became known as a skilled hunter and was often called upon by the other cavemen in our tribe. I was proud of what I could bring back for my family but nothing compared to the sense of wonder I felt at the waterfall.
Eventually, I left the tribe behind and made my way to the waterfall full-time. I built a small cave just beyond its edge where I lived alone for years on end. The sound of the waterfall lulled me to sleep every night and filled me with a sense of peace that I had never known before.
Life was simple but fulfilling, and I couldn't have been happier.
Until one day, a group of cavemen stumbled upon my little cave and insisted on joining me there. I tried to push them away but they wouldn't leave! Soon enough, the cave was filled with noisy, messy people and I felt like my peaceful life had been invaded.
I tried to reason with them but they just didn't understand. They wanted to hunt together, cook together, and laugh together - all things that were once special to me alone.
In the end, I left the cave behind and went back out into the world alone again. But I never forgot the sense of wonder that the waterfall had brought me and knew that one day, I would find a way to return there and recapture that feeling.
