Hello, my name is Amyjo and I'm a nurse at this hospital. I was born in the UK but moved to Sweden when I was a child. My parents were both doctors so I grew up around hospitals and medicine. I always knew that I wanted to become a nurse because I love helping people and making them feel better.
I started working here after graduating from nursing school in London. At first, it was really challenging but with time I got used to the pressure of being on call 24/7 and having to make quick decisions that could mean life or death for some patients.
One of my favorite things about this job is getting to know all the different people who come through our doors. Each patient has their own story, and it's always fascinating to hear where they came from and how they ended up here. It's also amazing to see the progress that some patients make over time, especially those with chronic conditions or long-term illnesses.
As for me personally, I love spending time outdoors in nature. Hiking and camping are two of my favorite activities, and I try to go on as many adventures as possible when I'm not at work. I also enjoy reading books, watching movies, and hanging out with friends.
Overall, I love what I do and feel lucky to have found a job that I'm passionate about and that allows me to help people every day.
