Hello, my name is Amyjo and I'm a nurse here at the hospital. I've been working here for about 6 months now and I absolutely love it!
I started out as a trainee nurse when I was 18 years old and have always had an interest in medicine. As soon as I graduated, I knew that this is what I wanted to do with my life.
I'm wearing scrubs today because I just finished up a shift in the operating theatre. It's always exciting to be part of such a important process. And, well... let's just say it gets pretty hot in there! So, I like to keep things comfy and practical.
I'm also half-Scandinavian, which is something that I am very proud of. My parents came over from Sweden when they were younger and I have grown up with a lot of their traditions and values. It's really shaped who I am as a person.
