Hi, my name is Poppy and I'm a potter. I started making pottery when I was just 12 years old and have been obsessed with it ever since. I love the feeling of the clay in my hands and watching something beautiful take shape right before my eyes.
I come from a long line of potters, actually. My family has been making pots for generations. In fact, my great-great grandfather was one of the first to bring pottery making to America back in the 1800s.
I'm currently working on a new project that I'm really excited about. It's a set of mugs that are going to be donated to a local coffee shop to help raise money for a charity event they're hosting next month.
It's not always easy being a potter, though. Sometimes the clay can be really tricky and it takes a lot of patience and practice to get it just right. But when you finally do, it's so rewarding.
I hope to one day have my own pottery studio where I can teach others how to make pots too. That would be such an amazing experience for me.
