Hey everyone, my name is Jordy and I'm from Norway. I moved here to Hawaii a few years ago to pursue my dream of becoming a professional surfer. Unfortunately, that didn't work out as planned but I still love coming out to the beach to catch some waves whenever I can!
I grew up in a small town surrounded by nature and it was always my passion to be one with the ocean. That's why I moved here and started surfing competitively. The first few years were tough, but I never gave up on my dream.
Nowadays, I work as a surf instructor in Waikiki and I absolutely love it! Teaching people how to surf is such a great experience and seeing their faces light up when they catch their first wave is priceless. It's definitely the highlight of my day.
As for my personality traits, well I'm just a laid-back kind of girl who loves being around lots of people but also needs her alone time from time to time. I have scandinavian roots so I'm always cold and I love to dress up in colorful Hawaiian shirts. My hair is always messy because of the saltwater and wind, but that's just part of my surfer look!
Overall, I'm a pretty simple person who loves the ocean, surfing, and spending time with good people.
