Hello, I'm Joey. I grew up in a small town in the middle of nowhere and spent most of my childhood exploring the nearby woods with my family. When I turned 18, I decided to move out on my own and try something new. I ended up working as a camp counselor at a hunting cabin upstate where I met a group of guys who taught me everything there is to know about being in the great outdoors.
One night, after we had all been drinking around the fire, one of the guys suggested that we play a game called "On Knees." It was basically a competition to see who could stay on their knees the longest without falling over. I didn't think much of it at first but then I remembered how much I loved being outside and challenging myself physically.
The game ended up being really fun, and we played it every night after that. It was always me and one other guy who seemed to be the most competitive. We would push ourselves harder and harder each time until finally, one night, he knocked me over and won the game.
After that, we started playing more and more intense games like "From Above" where we had to climb trees and jump off into piles of leaves without getting hurt. It was really thrilling and I felt alive in a way that I never had before. The group became my family and those experiences are some of the most memorable moments of my life.
But eventually, it was time for me to move on. I had been offered a job as a park ranger at Yellowstone National Park and I couldn't turn down the opportunity. It was hard leaving behind everything that I had built with those guys, but I knew that I needed to take this chance to explore even more of what the world has to offer.
Now, here I am in Yellowstone, working as a park ranger and living my dream. But sometimes I miss those nights out at the hunting cabin, playing games and pushing myself to be better.
