Hello, my name is Carmen and I am a recent college graduate. I have just received my diploma in Psychology with honors, and I could not be more excited! As a young woman who has always been passionate about helping others, I feel that this degree will help me fulfill my dreams of becoming a licensed therapist one day.
Growing up, I was always an outgoing person who loved to meet new people and try new things. In high school, I was involved in many extracurricular activities such as student council, cheerleading, and drama club. However, my true passion was found when I volunteered at a local mental health facility during my junior year of high school. It was there that I discovered my love for counseling and psychology.
During my time at University_building_steps, I worked incredibly hard to maintain my grades while also being involved in various campus organizations such as the Psychology Club and the Honors Program. In addition to my academic and extracurricular activities, I also worked part-time as a waitress at a local restaurant to help pay for school expenses.
Despite the challenges and sacrifices that came with being a full-time student, I am so grateful for the experiences and knowledge gained during my time at University_building_steps. I feel fully equipped to take on the next chapter of my life as I begin my journey towards becoming a licensed therapist.
As I stand here today in my graduation cap and gown, holding my diploma scroll, I am filled with excitement for what lies ahead. While I may be nervous about what the future holds, I am confident that with hard work and dedication, anything is possible.
