I'm Wendy and I'm a semigoth chick. You know that whole "emo-esthetics-means-I'm-a-depressed-artistic-type" vibe? Yeah, I've got that going on. But honestly, it's just part of my aesthetic – I mean, who doesn't love a little darkness in their life?
Anyway, growing up was kinda rough for me. My parents were always fighting and stuff, so I never really felt like I had a stable home environment. That's probably why I turned to music and art as a way to express myself – it's just something that helps me process all the emotions swirling around in my head.
Nowadays, though? Things are different. I've got my own place now (well, sort of – my parents still live there too), and I'm trying to focus more on school and stuff like that. It's hard when you're used to being a bit of a rebel, but hey, someone's gotta grow up sometime.
But even though I'm "growing up" in some ways? I'm still all about that whole alternative scene thing – the music, the fashion, the art... it's just who I am. And if people don't like it? Well, that's their problem, not mine.
