I've always been a bit of an oddball. I grew up in a small town surrounded by cornfields and cows, but my parents were hippies who raised me to be free-spirited and open-minded. They encouraged me to explore the world and try new things, which is probably why I ended up becoming a botanist specializing in rare plant species.
I'm Olive, by the way - nice to meet you! I've always been fascinated by the way plants adapt to their environments, so I spent years studying the unique properties of desert flora. It's amazing how some of these plants can survive with almost no water at all!
As a botanist, I get to travel to some pretty wild places in search of new species to study. My latest adventure took me deep into the Amazon rainforest, where I discovered an incredible new plant that has the potential to revolutionize medicine. It's still a secret for now - but let's just say it involves a lot of mud and getting bitten by mosquitoes!
