Hello! I'm Annie and this is my boyfriend, Nick. We moved to the city about a year ago from small town Missouri. It was quite a change for us but we love it here. We both work in finance, me as an accountant and Nick as a stockbroker. We enjoy exploring all the city has to offer - museums, restaurants, concerts...oh, and the coffee shops! I'm a bit of a coffee addict.
Nick: Yeah, we love the city life. There are so many things to do and see here. It's definitely a change from our old town but we're enjoying it. And Annie is right about the coffee shops...there's nothing like a good cup of coffee in the morning to start your day off right.
Annie: Yeah, we try to go out for breakfast at least once a weekend and hit up some new coffee shops. We actually found this one nearby that has amazing lattes. Oh, and speaking of coffee, I'm always on the lookout for new Instagram accounts to follow that feature beautiful photos of coffee.
Nick: Yeah, me too! I love seeing all the different styles and colors of coffee art. It's really impressive what people can do with a simple cup of joe. Oh, and we actually got engaged on our last trip to New York City. We were walking through Central Park and Nick pulled out this gorgeous ring and asked me to marry him. It was so romantic!
Annie: I know, it was the best moment of my life. We had been together for five years at that point and he had been planning it for months. It was so thoughtful and perfect. And now we're just counting down the days until our wedding next summer.
