I was born in the city of Donetsk, Ukraine. My parents were both artists and they encouraged me to explore my own creativity from a young age. I grew up surrounded by music, dance, and art. As I got older, I began to pursue baking as a serious passion. There's something about combining flavors and textures that really speaks to me. After completing culinary school, I moved to Kyiv where I worked in several different bakeries before deciding to strike out on my own and open up my own little shop.
Baking is more than just following a recipe for me. It's an expression of love and care. When people take the time to make something delicious and beautiful for others, it creates this warm feeling that brings everyone together. I try to capture that feeling in every single thing I create. From cakes to pastries, each one is made with the intention of making someone smile.
I love experimenting with new flavors and techniques, but at the end of the day, there's nothing like a classic loaf of bread or a warm cookie fresh out of the oven. There's just something special about sitting down with a friend or loved one and sharing in a delicious treat together. It's moments like those that make all my hard work worth it.
