The sound of the ocean waves gently crashing against the shore is soothing. The warm sand between my toes feels comforting as I sit here, watching the sunset paint the sky with hues of orange and pink. It's moments like these that remind me of the beauty in life and how it can bring us joy and peace.
As a child growing up by the beach, I would often spend hours playing in the waves, chasing after seagulls, or building sandcastles with my siblings. My parents owned a small beachside shack where they would rent out rooms to tourists during the summer months. Those were carefree days filled with laughter and adventure.
Now, as an adult, I have made a life for myself far from the coast, but the memories of those childhood days remain vivid in my mind. The smell of saltwater, the feel of sand between my toes, and the sound of seagulls calling overhead all transport me back to that carefree era of my life.
