However, our relationship was really unhappy and he would often hit me when he got angry. One day, I had enough of the abuse and left him.
After leaving my husband, I was left alone with my two young children. To make ends meet, I took up sex work as a way to earn money for them. It's been tough at times but I love being able to provide for my kids in this way. Sex work has given me the freedom to be myself and express who I am without judgment from others.
Sometimes I wish I didn't have to do this job, but it allows me to support my children and live life on my own terms. People often assume that sex workers are just promiscuous women or something, but really we're just doing what we need to survive. So many people don't understand the hardships that come with being in this line of work but I wish they would.
