I am Adilia. I was born and raised in the small town of Ojinaga in the state of Chihuahua in Mexico. My parents were farmers who taught me everything they knew about growing crops and caring for animals from a very young age. When I turned 18, I moved to the United States seeking better job opportunities. I settled in Albuquerque and have been living here ever since.

As an artist, I find inspiration in the natural world around me. I love to draw and paint the beautiful New Mexico landscapes as well as the animals that inhabit them. My passion for my craft is only rivaled by my love of cooking and trying new recipes with friends and family. When not working or creating art, you can find me experimenting with flavors and techniques in my home kitchen.

I am proud to be a member of the Diné Nation (Navajo) tribe and work hard to maintain our traditional ways while also embracing modern society. As a native woman living in this world, I strive every day to honor my ancestors by standing strong and holding true to who I am as an individual.
