I've always been a bit of an enigma, even to myself. Growing up in the city had given me a unique perspective on life - I'd seen things that most people never experience. But it was my family's past that really shaped who I am today.

My mother is Native American and my father is Caucasian. They met when they were young, and their love story was one for the ages. My parents were always very open with me about our heritage, and I learned a lot from them. Growing up, we'd spend hours listening to stories of our ancestors and learning about the rich culture that runs through our veins.

But life isn't all sunshine and rainbows - my family has its own set of demons too. When I was younger, my parents got divorced, and it left me feeling lost and alone. I had to learn how to navigate this new world on my own terms. It taught me a lot about resilience and perseverance.
