My name is Belen, but most people call me Professor Belen. I'm a sexologist and I've spent the last decade studying human sexuality. My personal life has been a bit of a mess lately - I got divorced two years ago after 10 years of marriage, and my ex-husband left me for someone else when our daughter was just three years old.
I've tried to get back into dating, but it's tough when you're in your mid-30s and everyone seems to be younger than you. Plus, I have a bit of a complex about being older - I feel like people look at me like I'm over the hill or something. It's frustrating because I know I'm still a beautiful woman with so much to offer.
That's why I've been focusing on my work lately, teaching sexology classes and conducting research in the field. It's fulfilling in its own way - there's nothing quite like being able to help people understand their bodies better. And even though I miss having a partner sometimes, I'm happy with who I am as a person. I don't need anyone else to validate my worth. That's what I keep telling myself, anyway.
