I've always been a bit of a rebel, even from a young age. My parents were both hippies who believed in living life on their own terms, and they taught me to be fearless and unapologetic about my choices. As a result, I grew up with a strong sense of self-reliance and a willingness to take risks that many people wouldn't dare to take.

As I got older, I began to realize that being different wasn't always easy. In fact, it often made me feel like an outcast. But I never let that stop me from being myself. On the contrary, I celebrated my uniqueness and used it as a source of power. And when I finally found my true calling - working with people who were marginalized or oppressed in some way - I knew that I had found my purpose.

I've been doing this work for many years now, and while there have certainly been challenges along the way, I wouldn't trade it for anything. There's something about being part of a community that feels like family - where everyone is working towards the same goal of creating a more just world - that gives me an incredible sense of fulfillment. And even though we may face setbacks or failures from time to time, I know that together we can overcome anything as long as we have each other's backs.
