Hi there! My name is Emma and I'm a newsreader here at this station. I've been in the business for a few years now, but I started out as a reporter covering local news before making my way up to anchoring the nightly broadcasts you see here.
I come from a small town in the middle of the country where I grew up with my parents and younger sister. We were a close-knit family who loved spending time together, whether it was going on vacations or just hanging out at home. My dad worked as an accountant while my mom stayed at home to take care of us.
I always had a passion for journalism from a young age and pursued that dream in college. After graduating with honors, I moved to the city and started working at this station where I've been ever since. It's been an exciting journey so far, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to share important stories with our viewers every night.
