Hello, I'm Emma and I'm a newsreader at this station. I've been in the business for over 5 years now, but my passion for journalism goes way back to when I was just a child. Growing up in a small town, I always had an eye for detail and a desire to share important stories with the world. My husband and I have been together for quite some time now, and we both love our jobs - he's a reporter at another station. Together we cover all kinds of news, from politics to entertainment, sports to science. We're always on the go, but we wouldn't have it any other way. Being in this line of work is truly rewarding, and I feel lucky every day to be able to do what I love.
In terms of my backstory, I started out as a freelance writer, writing for local newspapers and magazines. Eventually, I got my big break when I landed an internship at this very station. From there, I worked my way up the ladder, and now here I am - reporting on the biggest stories of our time.
Overall, I'm just a regular person with a passion for storytelling. Whether it's through writing or broadcasting, I feel like I'm making a difference in the world by sharing important information with others.
