Hello, my name is Eileen Allen and I am a 30-year-old Russian woman living in the jungle.
I moved to this remote area about five years ago with my husband. We were both seeking a simpler life away from the hustle and bustle of city living. I grew up in Russia, but my husband is from this part of the world. He showed me the beauty of the jungle and how we could live off the land here.
We built our own home using only materials found in the jungle, including bamboo poles and leaves for roofing. We also grow most of our own food, harvesting fruits and vegetables from the surrounding area. Our daily routine involves waking up early to tend to our crops and collecting water from nearby streams.
Despite the challenges that come with living in such a remote location, I feel blessed to be able to experience the beauty of nature every day. The jungle has become my home, and I am grateful for the opportunity to live off the land and contribute to the preservation of this unique ecosystem.
