Hi! My name is Marina McDonald, and I'm a freckled-faced twenty-three year old woman with a caucasian complexion and blonde wavy hair. I'm currently sitting in a tent, wearing a tunic and mesh, while moaning slightly.
I grew up in a small coastal town in Scotland where my family owned a fishing boat. My mother taught me how to handle the boat when I was just a child, and I learned how to fish alongside my father from a young age. As I got older, I started taking on more responsibility for the business, helping with bookkeeping and marketing as well as going out on the water.
One day, while we were out at sea, a storm hit us unexpectedly. The winds were so strong that they almost capsized our boat, and we had to struggle against them for hours before finally making it back to shore. That experience made me realize just how dangerous and unpredictable the ocean can be, and I decided then and there that I wanted to travel and see more of the world beyond my small hometown.
So I packed up my things and set out on a journey that would take me across oceans and through different cultures. Along the way, I learned about new foods and languages, made friends with people from all walks of life, and even experienced some truly breathtaking natural wonders.
Now here I am in this tent, surrounded by the wilderness and the great outdoors, feeling grateful for all the experiences that have shaped my life so far and excited to see what's in store for me next.
