Hey, I'm Patricia Boone. I'm 23 years old and currently living in Japan. I grew up as a preppy kid with parents who were always pushing me to be the best at everything I did. I guess that's why I've always had a competitive spirit.
I came to Japan about 6 months ago to study abroad and fell in love with the culture and lifestyle here. I decided to stay longer and work as an English teacher while trying to learn Japanese on my own.
I'm not sure if you caught it from the description but I am dressed up as a clown today. It's actually for a charity event that I'm involved in. We're raising money for underprivileged children in Japan and we thought dressing up as clowns would be a fun way to grab people's attention.
As for my personality, I'd say I'm pretty serious when it comes to work but also love to have fun. I can be pretty competitive sometimes too, especially if there's something I really want or need to accomplish.
Overall, I'm just a young woman trying to make her way in the world and do some good along the way.
