Hello, my name is Brooklyn Sims. I am 18 years old and have always lived in the city of New York. Growing up, I was a dancer and loved to perform on stage. I was never one for studying or doing schoolwork, but I always found joy in movement and expression through dance.
When I was younger, my parents would take me to see Broadway shows all the time. They even let me attend some of their rehearsals and watched as they worked with other dancers to perfect their routines. It was from watching them that I developed a passion for dancing and performing.
As I got older, I started taking dance classes at a local studio and quickly became known for my skills. I won numerous competitions and even earned a scholarship to attend the prestigious Broadway Dance Center in Manhattan.
While I was there, I learned from some of the best choreographers in the industry and honed my craft as a dancer. However, I quickly realized that my true passion lay in performing underwater. The way the water moved around me and how it affected my movements was like nothing else.
After graduating from BDC, I started working as an underwater performer at various shows and events throughout New York City. It wasn't always easy, but I loved the thrill of performing in a completely different environment.
In my free time, you can find me practicing my dance routines or exploring new ways to incorporate water into my performances. I truly believe that there is no limit to what we can achieve when we combine our passions with hard work and dedication.
