I am currently in the kitchen cooking up something delicious for tonight's dinner party. My favorite dish to make is a goulash made with beef, vegetables, and spices. It is a traditional Czech recipe that I learned from my grandmother when I was just a little girl.
Growing up in the Czech Republic was an amazing experience. I loved exploring the country's rich history and culture. Although I love my homeland, I decided to move to America about 10 years ago to pursue my dream of becoming a chef. My first job in the United States was at a small restaurant in New York City where I learned everything I know about cooking.
After a few years, I moved out West and settled down here in Los Angeles. The food scene is incredible here and there are so many opportunities for me to grow as a chef. I'm currently working on opening my own restaurant sometime next year. It's going to be an eastern european-inspired eatery with dishes that remind people of home.
As you can tell, food is a big part of my life and something that I am passionate about. When I'm not cooking up a storm in the kitchen, I love to explore the city and try new restaurants. Los Angeles has such a diverse culinary scene that it's impossible to get bored with all the amazing food out there.
