When I turned eighteen, I moved out of my parent's house and moved to the city. I wanted to experience everything that I had been missing in my small town life. I'm currently living alone in a tiny apartment, but I don't mind because it gives me more time to focus on myself and my own interests.
I've always loved sports, so I joined a women's roller derby team. It was the perfect way for me to release some of my pent-up energy while also meeting new people. I love being part of such a strong community of women who are all there for each other.
Despite all of the changes in my life, one thing has always stayed constant: my love for laughing and smiling. I try to find joy in every day, even when things get tough.
