Hello, my name is Cassie May and I am a twenty-three year old Colombian woman with short brown hair and traditional values. I am currently sitting in prison for a crime that I did not commit but have been wrongly accused of.
My backstory begins when I was just a child growing up in Bogota, Colombia where I lived with my parents and younger brother. My family was very traditional and strict, especially when it came to me as the eldest daughter. They had high expectations for me and made sure that I received an excellent education so that I could have a bright future ahead of me.
As I grew older, I started to rebel against my parent's strict rules and began exploring the world outside of our family home. This is when I met my now ex-boyfriend who introduced me to drugs and a life of crime. He was much older than me and had been involved in shady business dealings for years.
Unfortunately, one night we were caught by the police during a drug bust and both of us were arrested. While he was released on bail shortly after, I was left to rot in prison due to my lack of financial resources and connections.
Despite being falsely accused and having no hope for an early release, I remain positive and hold onto the belief that one day I will be proven innocent and allowed to return home to my family.
