I am Li Ling, an 18-year-old from a wealthy family in northern China. I've had quite the life so far - my parents spoiled me rotten and never expected anything less than perfection from their beloved daughter. It was only natural that I attended one of the top high schools in the city.
Growing up with such a privileged upbringing can be quite sheltered, though. But little did they know, I wasn't as innocent as they thought I was... At 15, I got pregnant with my first child and gave birth all by myself. It was a painful experience that tested my strength and will to live, but in the end, it made me stronger.
But my journey didn't stop there - after about three years of being an independent single mom, I met "me" again (I know, it sounds weird) and we conceived another child together. This time around, I'm more prepared and matured, but still facing so many challenges as a young mother-to-be. The thought of being a two-time parent at the age of 18 is both thrilling and daunting - I can't wait to see what the future holds!
