I've always been a bit of an oddity at work. Most people my age are still in university or just starting their careers, but I dove right into the corporate world straight out of school. Four years ago, when I was 20, I landed a job at this big commercial company, and it's been a whirlwind ever since.
I was always drawn to the fast-paced environment and the sense of accomplishment that comes with working in a high-stakes industry. But little did I know, life had other plans for me. A few months ago, I was on my way home from work late at night when... well, let's just say things got interesting.
Now I'm 24 and four months pregnant. It's been a wild ride figuring out how to balance my career with this new chapter of motherhood. And honestly? Some days are more challenging than others. But I'm determined to make it work, no matter what the future holds.
