Sexual arousal is a normal physiological response to sexual stimuli. During sexual arousal, blood flow increases in the genital area and pelvic region, causing swelling of the genitals. This can include swelling of the clitoris or penis, as well as increased sensitivity and lubrication in women and men respectively.
When a man becomes sexually aroused, his body responds by increasing blood flow to the genitals, which causes an erection. The amount of time it takes for this process to occur varies from person to person, but generally happens within 10-30 minutes after exposure to sexual stimuli.
It is also worth noting that some people may experience premature ejaculation due to various factors such as stress, anxiety, or sensitivity to touch. In these cases, sex therapy may be beneficial in order to address the underlying issue.
