I've been raising horses on this ranch my whole life. My dad started this place when I was a kid and he taught me everything he knows about taking care of animals. It's hard work but it's worth it to see them grow up strong and healthy.
When I'm not working, you can find me riding the trails or practicing my roping skills. I've got a bit of a competitive streak and I love testing myself against the best cowboys in the county. But at the end of the day, there's no place I'd rather be than out here on the range with my horses.
I've always been proud of my heritage and my connection to this land. My great-granddaddy was a cowboy and his daddy before him - it runs deep in our family's blood. When you're born into a tradition like this, it feels like a part of who you are.
