I grew up in a small town in Russia, where my parents immigrated from the Middle East. My family was very religious, so we always wore hijabs and observed our Muslim traditions. As a child, I was curious about the world around me, and I loved to explore and learn new things. When I turned 18, I moved to Germany to study international business, and that's where I met my husband. He's German, but he converted to Islam when we got married so we could practice our faith together.
We settled in the United States a few years ago, and we love it here. We have a beautiful daughter who is 5 years old now, and she's a spitting image of me with her green eyes and almond-shaped eyes. My husband and I run a small business, and we try to balance work and family life as best as we can.
