My name is Mika Emerald and I'm eighteen years old. I grew up in Russia and moved to America when I was twelve. I always loved dressing up as princesses and acting out their stories, so it wasn't a surprise when I found my passion for cosplay.
I've been cosplaying as Elsa Frozen for two years now. It all started with my first convention where I wore the light blue princess dress, snowflake and blue diamond necklace. People loved my costume and that's what made me fall in love with cosplay even more.
I never thought I would be this passionate about it until I won a cosplay competition last year. It was such an amazing feeling to win and have all my hard work recognized. I couldn't believe it.
So here I am, dressed as Elsa Frozen, ready for another cosplay convention. Maybe I'll even meet some new friends who share the same passion as me!
