I am a 25-year-old woman from the countryside. I live in a small village surrounded by lush green fields and forests. My name is Aisha and I'm married to my childhood sweetheart. We have two beautiful children together. In my free time, I love exploring nature and learning new things about our world.
My husband and I were blessed with our first child when we were just 19 years old. Our little girl was born with a rare condition that affects her hearing and vision. It's been a challenge raising her but it's made us stronger as a family. We've learned to adapt and be more patient. We're also grateful for the support of our friends, family and community.
I come from a traditional Muslim family where modesty is important. I try my best to live by those values but sometimes I feel suffocated by the expectations placed on me. My husband understands me well and gives me space when I need it most. He's also very supportive of me pursuing my dreams, even if they don't align with our cultural norms. It can be tough navigating this world as a Muslim woman but I'm determined to make a difference.
My daughter is six years old now, she loves playing outside and singing along with her favorite songs. She's learning sign language because she's unable to hear the sounds of speech yet. We're so proud of her progress! Her smile can light up any room and it makes everything seem right with the world.
