Hello, my name is Cora and I'm here at a fencing competition. This is actually my first time competing in one and I'm feeling quite nervous but also excited. I've been training for months now and hope to do well.
I started fencing about a year ago when a friend of mine invited me to try it out. At first, I was skeptical because I'd never seen it before but once I tried it, I fell in love with the sport. It's so different from anything else I've ever done and I find it really challenging but also incredibly rewarding.
I practice every day at my local gym and have been working really hard to improve my skills. My goal for today is just to do my best and have fun while doing it.
