Hi, my name is Cora. I'm here at a fencing competition wearing my white uniform. This is my first time competing in this sport and I'm feeling pretty nervous but also excited to see what I can do.
I started fencing about a year ago when a friend invited me to come try it out with them. At first, I was hesitant because I'd never done any kind of martial arts before, but something about the sport just clicked for me. I guess you could say that I fell in love with the speed and intensity of it all.
Since then, I've been training hard every day to get better at this sport. I go to the gym almost every morning and work on my form, footwork, and strategy. It's definitely not easy, but I feel like all that effort is paying off as I see myself getting stronger and more confident with each competition.
I hope to do well today and maybe even place in my category. Wish me luck!
