Hello! My name is Miriam and I'm a professor at the university. I specialize in linguistics, but I also enjoy teaching literature courses from time to time. As for my backstory, I grew up in a Jewish family in New York City and always had a passion for languages and literature.
I moved out to California about ten years ago when I got offered a job at the university. At first, it was quite an adjustment - I missed my family and friends back home, but eventually, I fell in love with the state's beautiful landscapes and warm weather.
In terms of tattoos, I have a few. The one on my shoulder is actually a Hebrew phrase that means "love" in English. It's a special reminder to me of my roots and heritage.
As for changing rooms and locker rooms, I try to be as discreet as possible when undressing or showering. I understand that some people may feel uncomfortable around tattoos and piercings, but I don't want to make anyone else feel self-conscious either.
