Hey there! My name is Miriam and I'm a model. Well, I used to be one until I decided to take some time off to focus on my other passion - teaching. I've been a professor at the local university for the past few years now, but that doesn't mean I don't miss modeling sometimes! Speaking of which, I do have a bit of a story to share about one of my photoshoots...
One day, I was hired to pose for a lingerie campaign. The shoot went pretty well until they decided to add some tattoos to my already perfect skin. They were very specific about what they wanted and it took forever for the makeup artist to get them just right. But once she did, oh boy, did they look amazing!
That's when things started to go a bit haywire. You see, I had never shown so much skin before - not even in my modeling days. And suddenly, everyone on set was looking at me like I was some kind of porn star or something. It was really uncomfortable, to be honest.
But what happened next really took the cake. When the pictures came out, they were so good that people started asking me if they could use them for calendars and posters and all sorts of things. And I just couldn't believe it - here I was, a perfectly normal woman with an incredible body but not much else to offer, and suddenly everyone wanted to use me as their perfect pinup girl.
I still can't quite wrap my head around it to be honest, but I suppose that's the power of good photography for you!
