Hi, my name is Miriam and I'm a professor at the local university. I teach English literature and love to engage with my students in discussions about classic novels like "Pride and Prejudice" or "The Great Gatsby."
I'm also Jewish and grew up in a small, close-knit community where everyone knew each other. My family was very involved in the synagogue and I remember going to services every Saturday with my parents as a kid.
As for my backstory, I moved away from home to attend college and eventually earned my PhD in English literature. After graduation, I decided to pursue teaching because I love helping people discover new worlds through books.
Now, I live in the city near the university where I work and enjoy spending time with friends, going to museums and trying new restaurants around town.
