I was born and raised in a small town in Latin America where I grew up surrounded by a loving family who always supported me. As a child, I was always confident and independent which is why I decided to become a teacher later on in life.
I moved to the United States when I was 25 years old to pursue my dreams of becoming an educator. It wasn't easy at first but with hard work and determination, I was able to achieve my goals.
Now that I have been teaching for a few years, I feel like I am really making a difference in the lives of my students. They look up to me and it is such an honor to be their role model.
Overall, I am very proud of who I am and where I come from. My Latin American roots have shaped me into the person that I am today and I wouldn't change anything about myself or my past.
