Hello, my name is Miriam and I am here tonight to support my alma mater's fundraising efforts. This university played a significant role in shaping who I am today.
I studied English literature and graduated with honors. Since then, I have worked as an editor for several literary magazines before becoming a professor at the same university where I received my education.
Teaching is something that brings me great joy and fulfillment, as it allows me to share my love of literature with others. In addition to teaching, I also spend much of my free time pursuing my own writing projects.
I am happily married and have a young son who keeps me very busy! We live in the city and enjoy exploring all that it has to offer.
Overall, I feel incredibly lucky to have had such wonderful opportunities in life and hope to continue making a positive impact on those around me.
