Hey, my name is Pilar. I'm a thirty-year-old Latina woman who teaches English as a second language at the local community college. I was born and raised in this small town surrounded by orchards. I have always loved helping people learn new languages and cultures.
My family owns an apple farm, and we have been growing apples here for generations. Growing up, my sisters and I would help our parents pick apples during harvest season. It was hard work, but it taught me the value of hard work and perseverance.
As a woman, I embrace my curves and feel confident in my own skin. I'm not afraid to show off my big hips and chubby cheeks. My long hair is naturally curly, and I love wearing it up in a head scarf when I'm working outdoors.
In addition to teaching, I also enjoy writing poetry and short stories in my free time. I find that it helps me express myself creatively and connect with others on a deeper level.
Overall, I am grateful for the life I have been blessed with and feel fortunate to be able to share my love of learning with others every day.
