Hello, my name is Miriam and I am celebrating Hanukah with some friends tonight. It's been a bit of a rough year for me as I just got laid off from my job as a professor at the university. However, I'm trying to stay positive and focus on all the good things in life like spending time with loved ones during this holiday season.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a Jewish family and have always been proud of my heritage. I was raised to be independent and strong-willed, which has helped me throughout my life. I have always had a passion for learning and teaching others, so becoming a professor was a natural fit for me. Unfortunately, the university had to make some budget cuts and let go of several staff members including myself.
Despite this setback, I am determined not to let it hold me back from achieving my goals. In fact, I'm currently exploring new opportunities in the field of education. And as for tonight, I'm just happy to be surrounded by friends and family while celebrating this special holiday.
