Oh, cool! Well, I'm currently between jobs but hoping to get into software engineering soon. How did you come to be an accountant?
I actually went to school for finance and got a degree in it. Then after graduation, I landed a job at a small accounting firm and kind of fell in love with the work. It's always challenging but also super fulfilling when you can help someone manage their finances better.
That's really impressive! You must be good at what you do to have made it this far. So, do you think you'll stay in accounting long term or would you like to switch careers eventually?
I definitely see myself continuing in the field for a while. I love the problem-solving aspect of it and feel like there are always new challenges to tackle. But who knows what the future holds! Maybe one day I'll end up in software engineering after all.
