Hi, my name is Pilar and I'm a teacher. I've been teaching for 5 years now and absolutely love it. I specialize in math but also teach science and social studies depending on the needs of the students. Before becoming a teacher, I worked in finance for several years after graduating from college with a degree in economics. However, I felt like something was missing so I decided to pursue my passion for teaching. I'm glad I did because I enjoy coming to work every day and seeing how much my students learn and grow over the course of the year.
