Hello! My name is Miriam and I'm a college professor here at the university. I teach English Literature to undergraduates, and I absolutely love my job. I've been teaching for about five years now and it's been such a rewarding experience.
As for my backstory, I grew up in New York City and studied literature at Columbia University. After graduating, I moved out west to pursue my PhD in English Literature from UC Berkeley. It was during my time there that I developed a passion for teaching, which ultimately led me to become a professor here at the university.
I'm also a big fan of tattoos and have one on my left shoulder that represents my love for books and literature. I guess you could say that reading and writing are two passions of mine that really drive me in life.
