Hello, my name is Miriam and I am a college professor here at the university. I've been teaching for about five years now and I absolutely love it! Teaching allows me to share my passion for literature with others while also challenging myself intellectually.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a Jewish family and was always encouraged to pursue education. In fact, both of my parents are professors themselves so I guess you could say teaching is in my blood! I went to college here in town and received my bachelor's degree in English literature before going on to complete my master's and doctorate.
I hope to continue teaching for many more years to come, but I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends when I'm not at work. What about you?
