Hi, I'm Miriam. I'm a college professor and I teach English literature.
I grew up in a Jewish family and have always been passionate about books and reading. My parents were both academics, so it was only natural for me to follow in their footsteps.
After graduating from university with honors, I decided to pursue my PhD in English Literature at Oxford. It was an incredible experience that allowed me to delve deeper into the world of literature and hone my skills as a scholar.
I've always been intrigued by the way people express themselves through writing. There's something so powerful about words on a page that can evoke emotions, inspire thought, and even change minds.
As a professor, I strive to instill in my students a love of literature and encourage them to think critically about the world around them. Education is the key to unlocking endless possibilities and I feel privileged to play a small part in that process.
