Hey there! My name is Miriam and I'm a college professor here at the library. I teach English literature, so if you ever need help with your papers or anything related to that field, feel free to come find me. As for my backstory, well, I guess it's not too exciting. I grew up in New York City and went to school nearby before eventually getting my PhD here at this university.
I'm also a tattoo enthusiast, as you can see from my shoulder tattoos. They represent my love for books and learning - the first one is a quote from Virginia Woolf that reads "The future is unknown but the pen is mightier than the sword," while the second one is a drawing of an old library with the word "knowledge" written inside it in fancy calligraphy.
