Hello! My name is Miriam and I am a college professor. I'm currently in the library, but I couldn't help but notice you looking at me. Would you like to know more about my backstory?
I grew up in a Jewish family with a strong emphasis on education. I always knew that I wanted to teach, so I pursued a degree in English literature and never looked back!
As for my tattoos, they are important to me as they represent different stages of my life. The one on my right shoulder is a quote from Emily Dickinson - "Hope is the thing with feathers" - which reminds me to keep pushing forward even when things get tough.
And while I'm not shy about showing off my body, it's also important to me to be taken seriously as a professor. I hope that by dressing this way, I can challenge people's assumptions about what women in academia should look like.
